Pep Boys Auto Service & Tires

Informed me about a free tow up to 10 miles to Pep Boys. They jumped my car. Replaced my battery. Very nice people work there. Especially Ash!

I came in for some routine maintenance and felt the service was just okay. The staff seemed busy and a bit stretched thin, which meant I ended up waiting longer than I initially expected. While the work on my car was done correctly and I do not have any complaints about the final result, the overall experience was pretty standard and nothing stood out as particularly exceptional or frustrating. It is a decent place if you need basic automotive help, but do not expect a speedy turnaround.

Went for windshield wipers and was greeted by the sweetest man, I believe his name was David. Excellent customer service, he even went and purchased my children donuts while they waited for the job to be done! 10/10 would definitely recommend and will definitely be a returning customer.

Everyone is very friendly here, but I have to give it a couple stars less because they replaced my tire but instead of correcting The tire pressure for the three other tires, they put on a new tire and Balanced the low tire pressure………. I’m sure it would’ve only taken an extra minute or two to correct the psi considering I just paid $450………….. I had to come back here and give it one star because the manager of the store read my review and instead of reaching out to me he reached out to a friend’s dad who I guess goes there on the regular to have him speak to me to remove my review…..? That is so completely awkward and weird That I had to call and ask why he would do that instead of calling me and the guy on the phone said that he doesn’t know What I’m talking about the Manager will call me back tomorrow… And of course, no call back…. Professionalism at its finest

Solid Auto Shop with Quality Service and Reasonable Prices I’ve been servicing our family cars at Pep Boys on Veterans Rd, Staten Island since 2011, when we moved to the Prince’s Bay neighborhood. From simple inspections and oil changes on new cars to resolving complex startup issues on old ones, the shop has consistently delivered quality service, with prompt updates and friendly customer interaction. They stand by their work, offering warranties on major repairs. Prices are reasonable, and if you keep an eye out for coupons on the Pep Boys website or mailers, you can score even better deals. The shop is open 7 days a week, 8am-6pm (Sun from 9am), which is especially convenient for those of us with tight in-office schedule. I confidently recommend Pep Boys on Veterans Rd for reliable, friendly, and efficient auto service.
